Our Hobie Getaway is an 18ft sailing catamaran that can carry our Captain and up to four adult passengers. We launch on the beach here in La Fortuna and a light wind is all that is necessary to take you cruising silently along the waves, giving you a different perspective of the East Cape.
During the winter months (December – May) the coast is full of humpback whales and we can often see them up close as the boat has no engine and therefore create no disturbance. Getting out on the water also allows you to see other marine wildlife such as dolphins, sea lions, pelagic fish and mobula rays. Jump in the water for a swim or just enjoy the relaxing sensation of sailing.
