OPENING HOURS
We proudly serve gourmet espresso coffee, including what many of our regulars claim is the best soy latte on the East Cape. Alongside our coffee you’ll find fresh juices, smoothies, soft drinks, craft beers, cocktails and a carefully selected range of wines.
Our kitchen focuses on simple, freshly prepared food made with quality local ingredients whenever possible. Favourites include locally caught tuna burritos, chicken curry burritos, breakfast burritos, traditional Mexican breakfasts, and light snacks such as fresh salsa with totopos.

Every Sunday, during our live music sessions, we invite local food vendors to join us, creating a rotating selection of dishes ranging from tacos and wood-fired pizza to curries and other seasonal specialties.

As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand our menu while staying true to the same philosophy: healthy, nutritious food sourced as locally and sustainably as possible.
Supporting local producers is an important part of that vision. In the past we’ve partnered directly with ranchers in La Fortuna, purchasing whole free-range cattle raised naturally on the surrounding desert vegetation. The beef supplied our café while the remaining cuts were sold within the community, helping support the local economy and promoting a more sustainable, transparent food system. We look forward to continuing similar initiatives in the future.
OUR philosophy
Designed as an oasis from the Baja sun, the café lounge is a comfortable place to slow down for a few hours or spend the entire day. You’ll find comfortable sofas, hammocks, shaded seating areas and plenty of tables for eating, reading or working.
High-speed Starlink WiFi is available throughout the property, along with convenient power outlets, making the café an ideal workspace for digital nomads and remote workers.
Just steps from the beach, you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the waves roll in, with uninterrupted views of the surf break. After your session, rinse off under our outdoor beach shower before settling in for breakfast or a cold drink.
A Place to Relax
The café has been thoughtfully designed around a magnificent native palm tree, using principles of sacred geometry to create a welcoming central gathering space. At its heart is our stage, home to our weekly Sunday live music sessions, surrounded by comfortable seating and a large communal fire pit.
You’ll also find:
- A small shop featuring Baja Station merchandise, locally made artwork and handcrafted jewellery.
- A carefully curated segunda offering quality second-hand clothing.
- A community book exchange.
- Occasional outdoor cinema nights on our large projection screen.
Throughout the year we host live music, workshops, community gatherings and cultural events that bring together people from across Baja and around the world.
